Unstoppable: Raheem Sterling sends message to ‘haters’ through Vybz Kartel lyrics

Manchester City’s £47million man Raheem Sterling is determined to prove his detractors wrong.

Sterling has been subjected to vile abuse and harassment over his big money move to City from Liverpool. He has been accused of being disloyal and a money grabber, with many persons saying that they want to see him fail.

However, the Jamaica-born winger has got his Manchester City career off to a strong start with two very positive outings in wins over West Bromwich Albion and defending champions Chelsea.

Fittingly, on Tuesday morning, he tweeted lyrics from Unstoppable, a song by incarcerated Jamaican dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel.

“Me a aim fi the sky like plane… them a pray fi me fall like rain!!!” Sterling said, adding a few minutes later that he will be speaking “str888 patois today.”

Sterling is known to be a Vybz Kartel fan.
